Walking the Spiritual Path With Practical Feet:
Ten Visionaries Who Make A Difference Teleseries Linda Haltinner is our next author in the Walking the Spiritual Path With Practical Feet: Ten Visionaries Who Make A Difference teleseries. What would I have done without Linda all these years? I don’t even want to think about it. I first saw Linda, director of Sojourns Community Health Center in Westminster, Vermont, several years ago when my son, Chris, who was (and still is) a practitioner there, suggested I see Linda for my chronic cough.
Over the years, Linda has helped me maintain what, overall, is my excellent health. She is herself a state of the art practitioner and her Center reflects that in every way. I have had several roles with Linda and Sojourns over the years – consultant/coach, board member and patient – and it is very clear why Linda is so loved and admired by everyone who is fortunate enough to be touched by her wisdom and her expertise. A true visionary indeed! That is why I chose her as one of the visionaries in my book who has made a significant difference in my life. I am thrilled that Linda will be our next author on March 29th. We create expectations based on what we believe is possible—yet a belief is just a thought that we practice over and over. Active expectation is very different from magical thinking. Dr. Haltinner will talk about active expectation and the journey of healing, focusing on training our thoughts to support our body’s innate tendency toward wellness.Dr. Linda Haltinner has been a practicing chiropractic physician since 1981. She is certified in Functional Medicine and in Biological Medicine, and serves on the national Biological Medicine Advisory Board. In 1999, she founded a non-profit collaborative clinic in Westminster, VT. Sojourns Community Health Clinic is one of the few Biological Medicine clinics in the United States. The clinic is a manifestation of her walking her spiritual path with practical feet; a dream of possibility; an integrative healing center where good medicine, centered in spirit, tempered by love, can begin to make a change in what people come to expect as good health care. Dr. Haltinner’s passion is healthcare model change. She believes that changing the way we look at our bodies can change the way we think, and that changing the way we think can change the world.
